| When it comes to general contracting,
few companies in the country can match our three quarters of a century of experience.
Now in our third generation of family ownership and management, we have earned
a solid reputation for delivering quality work on time and on budget.
As evidence of that reputation, we have received more craftsmanship awards for our varied projects than any other contractor in the state of Ohio. This involves both new construction and restoration projects, some of which were historically significant structures Ð a specialty few other general contractors can claim. Our long record of on-the-job performance has earned us repeat business from many of our clients; a point in which we take particular pride. Much of our current on-the-job performance can be traced to the experience of our top management who have literally grown up in the construction business and who continue to practice a hands-on management style. Much more can be attributed to the quality of our workforce. We are one of the few contractors to still maintain our own staff of masons, carpenters, and other skilled tradesmen. Our foremen and superintendents average some 15 years each with our company, and we are one of a mere handful of companies in the entire country to still have old world stone craftsmen on our payroll. Another key to our success over the years has been our commitment to efficient, well-managed construction sites. We carefully train our tradespeople on proper construction procedures, and keep them up to date on advances in construction technology. We even have a full-time safety officer on staff because we want the best possible working environment for our people, and because we know that a safe site is a more productive site. At R.P. Carbone, we know that just as every building needs a strong foundation, so does the company that builds it. We've been working on ours since 1926.
