Construction Administrator

Primary Function: Assist in the overall administrative and technical direction of a construction project. Take responsibility for specific aspects of construction and for documentation of shop drawing logs, RFI logs, Change Order logs, and Meeting Minutes.

Qualifications/Skills: Four-year engineering degree or the equivalent combination of technical training and/or related construction experience. Minimum one to two years of experience in similar facility construction. Thorough knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment methods, plus hands-on experience in craft supervision and labor coordination helpful. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.

Estimator

Primary Function: Assist in gathering, calculating, and compiling data for use in bid proposal estimates for one or more discipline areas. Calculate various statistical data, quantity take-offs, material price lists, labor costs per man-hour, equipment, etc.

Qualifications/Skills: Four-year engineering degree or the equivalent combination of technical training and/or related construction experience. Ability to calculate mathematical extensions and the ability to read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, cost coding systems, etc. are essential.

Scheduler

Primary Function: Perform tasks related to the collection and evaluation of data required to monitor project schedules. Learn to apply the principles and techniques of resource monitoring to specific tasks. Develop, draft, and computerize construction schedules for assigned area of work.

Qualifications/Skills: Four-year engineering degree or the equivalent combination of training and related experience. Basic knowledge of resource monitoring techniques such as CPM networks, plus basic understanding of construction technology, process systems, and/or structures are required.
