RPC is serving as Construction Manager for the District’s $84 million program involving the construction of an expanded High School to accommodate 3,600 students and a new elementary school.  The high school portion consists of a 360,000 square-foot addition and renovation of 170,000 square-feet of the existing high school.  The new elementary school is 76,000 square-feet/  The District has formed collaboratives in the community to create a lifelong learning facility for use by everyone in the District.  The City of Medina is now a partner in the natatorium complex by administering the recreation pool while the school will run the competition pool.  The County Library is a partner in the Media Center, allowing everyone in the District card access to the facility to checkout materials, access to computers, etc.  The University of Akron is a partner in the Distance Learning and the Hospital will is a partner in the fitness center by including a District wide Wellness Program.
